October in Hungary Tour

Oriole Birding are running a tour to Hungary in October 2012. The main focus will be the many 1000s of Common Cranes that occur here in autumn. Other target species on the trip will be Great Bustard, Lesser White-fronted and Red-breasted Geese, Saker Falcon, Rough-legged Buzzard, Eastern Imperial and White-tailed Eagles, Pygmy Cormorant, Long-eared Owl roosts, and 8 species of European woodpecker species are also on the cards. This sounds like a fantastic trip! Europe has such a diverse natural environment. I am taking a trip on a city breaks to Prague later in the year and I can't wait to take a trip to glorious lakes in the area as they are supposed to have some amazing wildlife.
